Origin notes
Ecuador is a principal origin of fine-flavour cocoa recognized by the International Cocoa Organization. Nacional material is associated with the country’s fine-aroma trade, while CCN-51 is a distinct commercial cultivar; the two are identified separately in offers and samples.
Coastal sourcing spans river basins and humid production areas with different crop peaks. Province, form, crop information, and available post-harvest records accompany the lot description.
Compliance notes
- Confirm the applicable FDA food-facility registration status for each processing or packing facility before entry.
- Provide FDA Prior Notice information and identify the FSVP importer.
- File the Importer Security Filing for ocean freight and confirm the customs bond and entry data.
- Check USDA/APHIS plant-health conditions for the exact form and treatment, then assemble the applicable phytosanitary record.
