Origin notes
Otavalo is a longstanding textile center in Imbabura, where Kichwa weaving families and workshops produce woven and knitted goods. Cotacachi is known for leather workshops. We identify the actual maker, material claim, and production method for the offered program rather than applying a regional label alone.
Natural and blended fibers can vary, so commercial orders use an approved sample and written tolerances. Leather programs also record leather type, hardware, lining, dimensions, and finishing.
